SDF is a direct financial aid to the recipient provided by the Chinese Embassy, which focuses on Sustainable Development, income generation and livelihood improvement. To ensure fund is for the Kiribati people and its benefits are shared by the people, we highly suggest the recipient should provide feedback and make the progress of the approved project known to the public, as the project will be positively considered. 

Applications for projects in 2025 are open from March 31st till May 15th, and the application forms shall be submitted in the form of hard copies to the Chinese Embassy office (lagoon side). E-copy of the application form is attached.
