On July 14, 2025, Ambassador Zhou Limin and his spouse attended the 46th National Day of the Republic of Kiribati at the invitation of Kiribati President Taneti Maamau and the First Lady Teiraeng Maamau.

President Maamau delivered a speech and thanked development partners, including China, for their contributions to Kiribati's development, expressing the willingness to work hand in hand with all development partners to deepen relations and bring more benefits to the people. 

Ambassador Zhou and his spouse had cordial talks with President Maamau and several cabinet ministers respectively.
