On November 28th, the Chinese Embassy invited Kiribati people from out islands to visit the Embassy. Counsellor Zhao Jian attended the event and delivered welcoming remarks. Kiribati's Minister of Tourism, Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives Tangariki Reete delivered remarks to express the support. Over 80 guests, including Minister of Environment, Lands and Agricultural Development Tokaibure Rabaua, Honorable MP Choy Freddy from Betio and the people from out islands such as Abemama Island, participated in the event.

During the event, the people expressed their sincere gratitude for the support provided by China. The atmosphere at the event was relaxed and pleasant, and diplomats from the Embassy had friendly exchanges with the guests.
