On 25th May 2026, Chargé dAffaires Zhao Jian met the the new Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of the Republic of Kiribati, Dr. Tearinaki Tanielu and extended congratulations on his new position. Both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual concern.
