On 10th March 2026, Chargé d'Affaires Zhao Jian met with the Chairperson of the Executive Board Members of Kiribati Local Government Association (KiLGA), BTC Mayor Mr. Tetabo Manaimá, the Executive Officer of KiLGA Ms. Tiene Tooki Kanoua and the Finance Officer of KiLGA Ms. Taarai Tiim. Both sides exchanged views on relevant issues.
